The Watch List

1. Team Genius: Formed out of boredom and a cease and desist order, Team Genius is a family affair that brings joy on their debut ep HOORAY. Listen to: Let's All Sleep Together (mp3)
2. The Joy Formidable: Do you like your girls angry and your music loud and bouncy? Well this UK band has something for you. They are also open for remixes, and have a link to recording files on their myspace. Listen to: Auster (mp3)
3. Nicholas Alan: A wanter... His bio says he makes a pot of coffee at the beginning of the week and drinks it all week. That shows strength, and a need to sell a few records. California transplant with a gentle voice and a steady guitar. Listen to: Cigarettes in Snowmen (mp3)

1. "Move In With Me" by Sam Pink: This story highlights the consistent conflict of commitment. The struggle between love and pain, and it just happens to be published in the best new zine on the planet. Trust me, it is life changing experience.
2. "Skipping Through Alongside Sunbeams" by J.A. Taylor: As a father, this one hard to read, but extremely well done.
3. "Wealth" by Patrick Swaney: Gives a whole new meaning to "Another Brick in The Wall".
4. "The Wall" by Kendra Grant Malone: Speaking of the wall...
5. Gloom Cupboard Issue #23: Featuring poems from A.D Winans, Echezona Udeze, Gary Beck, and Joe Roche
6. "PaintWriteDeathLifeArt (Sketches from a life in art)" by Ben Tanzer: An incredible story that was recently nominated for a storySouth 2008 Million Writers Award.

3. Dawn Landes "Bodyguard": (Saturday Morning Cartoon) Ok, this is one of my favorite albums at the moment and a full review will appear this week, but this video... I mean the drummer... the suits... you will just have to watch it for yourself.
