The Watch List

Listening:
1. Human Bell - It seems like Baltimore is the place to be. Recently signed to Thrill Jockey, Human Bell plays dark southern folk.
2. Omega Jarden - Strange electro noises from Brooklyn.
3. Millimetre - Earlier this month Terry McGaughey aka Millimetre released his second full length album Obsidan. He creates dreamy electropop.

Reading:
1. "This Bar" by Susan Buttenwieser - I was drawn in by her name, but stay for the story.
2. Gloom Cupboard Issue #13 - featuring work from Joe Roche, Dave Donovan, Echezona Udeze, and Orange Alert favorite Karl Koweski.
3. “Chicago” by Edmond Caldwell - It took a couple reads, but each were enjoyable.

Wishing:
2. "Vacation" by Jeremy Shipp - I've heard only good things so maybe it will end up in my stocking this year! $11.95
3. Moleskine US & Canada Cities - Here is a big wish. I wish that Moleskine would make a Chicago City notebook. They currently make San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., and Boston, but no Chicago. $16.95

Getting:
1. CRU A Issue #12 - This one is not in English, but art transcends.
2. Free ep of 90's cover from Cassette's Won't Listen and MFR. You can find the download here.

Watching:
1. Davey & Goliath: "Christmas Lost & Found" Part 1
2. The Vandelles - Fever of the Beat (Live)
3. Negativland "Our Favorite Things" - "Kooky Kulture Kut-up Kings", the title fits so well. This incredible collection is 80 minutes for the best Negativland has produced over the last 27 years brought to life by 18 other filmmakers.
