Today's link is a must read full of intelligent fiction, interesting illustional, and DIY punk mentality. "SteamPunk Magazine" is new to the scene, but they have produced a quality first issue that can be downloaded here. This is how they describe it:

"Before the age of homogenization and micro-machinery, before the tyrannous efficiency of internal combustion and the domestication of electricity, lived beautiful, monstrous machines that lived and breathed and exploded unexpectedly at inconvenient moments.
